Otter Ferry is located an hour and half away from Glasgow, on the East shore of Loch Fyne, part of the Argyll Secret Coast, giving breathtaking views across the landscape.

Otter Ferry name has nothing to do with Otters but comes from the name oitir which describes a sandbank or spit of land. There was a ferry running between Otter Ferry and West Otter Ferry which ceased in the 1950s
